Bar-at-Law, Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, Advocate High Court
Barrister Ghazi Khan Khalil is an advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and appears before all judicial forums within the civil jurisdiction including tribunal and quasi-judicial forums. He has represented and advised various clients in respect of matters pertaining to banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, equity financing and possesses considerable experience in matters pertaining intellectual property rights and property/real estate.
Advocate High Court
LLB (HONS) from University of Kent, United Kingdom and has completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) from BPP University, London. He is enrolled as an Advocate High Court and is a Member of Sindh Bar Council.
Nausherwan has contributed towards UK based publications ‘Global Legal Insights’ on cartels in respect of competition, laws and practice in Pakistan. Nausherwan has worked as an Associate Partner at Liaquat Merchant Associates for 7 years before the inception of the firm.
Nausherwan is one of the Founding Partners of the firm and has developed substantial expertise in corporate matters as well as civil, commercial, banking, clinical negligence and constitutional matters before the High Court of Sindh at Karachi and various judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative tribunals. He has experience in dealing with a range of corporate matters pertaining to banking and finance law including both conventional and Islamic financing transactions, company commercial laws, power projects, mergers and acquisition laws, intellectual property law, labour laws, telecommunication law and property law.
Nausherwan also advises local and foreign clients in respect of setting up business presence in Pakistan along with advice on corporate governance structure and regulatory requirements. He also regularly appears before the High Court and the subordinate courts in dispute resolution and litigation involving corporate, banking and finance, labor, foreign exchange repatriation, succession, clinical negligence and constitutional matters for various local and international clients.
Nausherwan is also a member of FPCCI (Federal) Budget Advisory Council for the year 2020-2021 along with being the member of FPCCI Standing Committee on Diplomatic Affairs.
